Holidays + MF Doom - Arrow Root

I'm finally back, I just finished my exams and my thesis. As summer approaches, I focus about the place to go during the holidays. Some ideas?

If you didn't know MF Doom, this is one of his best tracks imo.

85

Almost 20 years ago, this monument of jazz music died, and today would have been his 85th birthday. Sometimes I'd like to have a time machine and see him playing live...

Phoenix - If I Ever Feel Better

Here is one of my favorite pop songs, love lyrics and the instrumental too.

Nicolas Jaar - Time For Us

Nicolas Jaar, 20 years old, born in Chile and raised in New York, released last year this surprising downtempo House track. What do you think about this?

Nujabes feat. Shing02 - Luv (sic) Part 2

I already know that this track is very popular, but I love it. I had to share this with you, because it's here another perception of what Hip-hop is, maybe even the good one, I don't really know.
Furthermore, Jun Seba or Nujabes, had a car crash last year, and left us some of the best songs I've heard. RIP

Boards Of Canada - Kaini Industries (Bibio Cover)

This tune is more relaxing and chilling than the one I posted just before. My musical taste is very eclectic and I want to make you discover different things, so you'll probably dislike some of my posts, but maybe one day you'll find here the track you were looking for since a long time.

Kill Your Co-Workers

Before you kill your co-workers, first take a look on this. :)

Burial & Four Tet feat. Thom Yorke - Ego

The best track I've discovered since a while for sure. I didn't take the time to listen new Burial album, and I regret it now...

Pantha Du Prince - Welt Am Draht

I know that my musical likes seem sometimes strange, but it's hard to deny the quality of Pantha du Prince's productions. I hardly recommend his album "Black Noise"

Mount Kimbie - Maybes (James Blake Remix)

Hotflush Recordings is an excellent label, with an eclectic catalog and many brilliant artists that I like. There's one of his best records, a remix from one of my favorite artists, James Blake.

Techno anthem

I love all those hypnotic Techno stuff which comes from artists such as Sandwell District, Lucy or Jeff Mills. I'll often post tunes of these great names of Techno.
I advise you to listen the last album from the duo Sandwell District, composed of Regis and Function, which is titled "Feed Forward".

Thomas Bangalter - Rectum

This track is from "Irreversible" OST composed by Thomas Bangalter, a part of French duo Daft Punk. If you already saw this movie, it will probably remind you the horrible rape scene...

Some classical

Not because I'm a "chauvin" as we say in French, but if I had to choose one orchestration of this wonderful, monumental and tragic movement, I would choose this one by René Leibowitz.

First note

Wonderful piece. I discovered this only few weeks ago.
This is, in my opinion, the best track to begin this blog.
